Meet Our Team

Kasey is a CA native but Nevada convert. After moving to Reno in 2011, meeting his wife on the soccer field, and starting his family, Kasey considers Reno home. Kasey has over 20 years of management and marketing experience that he is excited to bring to the Leland Orthodontics team.

He loves cooking, soccer, playing with his kids, outdoor activities, and learning new trades. If he is not playing soccer with his wife (who is a truly amazing soccer player), he loves spending time cooking and concocting new recipes and enjoying the Reno/Tahoe outdoors.

Katie grew up in the Northwest and has been assisting in oral surgery and orthodontics since 2009. Katie is all about getting down and dirty!

She loves to go camping and hunting with her Labradors, Brewer and Roxxie. (They’re adorable). She also has a black cat named Evie who loves to do some hunting of her own and bring in all kinds of creatures- from mice to lizards to birds. Although Katie wishes she would hunt down some Taco Bell for her.

Katie and her husband, Nick, have a beautiful baby boy who keeps them running!

This is V! (aka Victoria but prefers V). She is from sunny Huntington Beach, and just recently got married! She and her husband, Joshua have two beautiful little kitties: Evangeline and Brooks (although Eva is no “little kitty” haha). On her days off, you can find her hiking, swimming, snowboarding, pretty much any outdoor activity! Fun fact: She is fluent in ASL!

Jessica handles all your insurance and financial needs! In her spare time you can find her spending time with her family and her adorable fur babies, Little and Sparky! Speaking of babies, Jessica is the proud mama to a beautiful little boy, Luca! Fun fact: Jessie is an excellent artist and baker. Not to mention she is fluent in Spanish!

Shauna is the ray of sunshine you see as you walk through the front door! We call her the modern day Mary Poppins, as she is ALWAYS smiling and the kiddos just flock to her! She has 3 fur babies: “Old Man” Chongo, a 4 lb. Chihuahua, and 2 puppies, Eloté and Buster Bosco. Fun fact about Shauna: she is one of 8 siblings, meaning she knows how to handle any situation! Shauna brings this amazing skill to our office, and always greets you with a smile on her face.

Meet our Treatment Coordinator, Karissa! She is originally from Alaska but moved to Reno as a teenager. Fun fact: she won a moose calling contest when she was 13! Nothing says you grew up in Alaska quite like that! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and beautiful baby boy. She is also a dedicated fur mama with 2 golden retrievers, Ruby and Ford, 2 amazing cats, Stormi kitty and Cowboy kitty, and a bearded dragon, Pumpkin! Karissa hopes to have a farm one day, that is, as soon as she is able to convince her husband! She looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the L.O. Family!

Marisa is one of our awesome ortho assistants! She grew up in Bakersfield,CA (central CALI). Marisa loves being in the outdoors, and especially loves fishing and hiking with her husband. She also has a cat named Amerikus. When she’s not working or in the outdoors you can catch her watching some Netflix and cuddling with the kitties!

Lauren’s super power is her knack for making the kiddos smile! She brings lots of smiles to our team, and also keeps us updated on the local weather patterns, as our resident weather gal!  (The next time a snowstorm is predicted in the area, you’ll understand what I mean!) She moved to Reno from Santa Clarita with her husband and 2 precious, wild boys! In her free time, she loves shopping, the beach Motocross, and everything pink!

Meet Carina! She is funny, witty and very artistic. Her favorite thing to do is spend quality time with her family. She has 2 daughters, a guinea pig named Rocco, a cat named KeKe, a dog named Winston and a bearded dragon named Skylar. Her favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween. You can expect to see her car all decorated up showing off her creativity and quirkiness. Carina has over 20 years of customer service experience so expect nothing but warm welcomes and big smiles when you see her.

Meet Karlee! She never stops moving! You will see her snapping your initial photos, taking your x-ray, scanning your teeth, and always with a HUGE grin on her face! She has 2 siblings and a cat named Nala, and enjoys spending her free time with them. She LOVES kids, and more than anything she loves making them smile and laugh. And last but not least, pink is her favorite color!

Meet Margot! She is in charge of ‘fun’ stuff, like contests, community outreach, parties, etc as well as handling the ‘not-so-fun-but-necessary-back-end-behind-the-scenes-stuff,’ like making sure the smiirls are working (if you don’t know what these are, come visit us at the office)! She enjoys being active and trying new things, with her latest undertaking consisting of joining the ever so popularly growing sport of pickleball. Fun fact- she has her black belt in karate, so watch out!

Meet the Leland Ortho Ninja Team. They love soccer, hockey and playing Roblox. You can find them around the office shredding paper, doing ninja moves, or sneaking candy. What do they want to be when they grow up? Professional soccer players, duh!
